Christmas bird counts are fun, a good way to find out about birding spots you normally might not know about, get you in contact with other local birders, and provide important data on the trends of bird populations.  For each, bring plenty of warm clothes, a lunch, and binoculars.  Groups of counters will be arranged at the morning meeting point where experienced birders will be paired up with birders of less experience.  All skill levels are welcome, so don't feel intimidated - just come and have a fun time.

Also, Andrea Robinsong has very generously offered to host another catered get-together at her house at 599 Woods Road, Hotchkiss. Warm drinks and lunch will be provided starting at 12:00 p.m. through the end of the afternoon.  RSVPs for Andrea's get-together are desired, so please contact Adam if you would like to attend.
