Mary Menz of Ridgway will be talking about how native plants are a critical part of the food chain for both resident birds and native pollinators.  Come here her talk about native plants that attract birds and also attract insects and pollinators that birds eat.  Mary is a Colorado Native Plant Master who co-teaches the Native Plant Master Program on the Western Slope through the Colorado State University Extension Service.  Her program will be held at the Montrose Field House at the corner of Rio Grande and Colorado Avenue (North 9th St.) in Montrose starting at 7:00 p.m.  There is no charge and all are welcome.
