Dian Torphy will lead a fieldtrip along Surface Creek in Cedaredge.  Meet in Cedaredge at the parking area along Surface Creek.  From Delta, take Hwy 65 north and turn right on Independence Ave. (just past the Conoco).  There is parking on the right just after you cross the river.  This trip lasts about 2 hours.  Carpooling from Delta or the North Fork is possible if you let Dian know ahead of time.  Bring a snack, water, binoculars, and a spotting scope, if you have one.
