Thursday, October 12, 7:00 p.m.  Paul Morey, Chief of Natural Resources for Mesa Verde National Park, and Yucca House National Monument will speak about recent habitat and wildlife challenges in the parks, including managing bear and wild horse populations. He will also highlight birding in the parks and the Ute Mountain Mesa Verde Birding Festival, held annually in May. Mesa Verde is a crown jewel of the National Park system, and it will surely be interesting to hear details about the park from an insider!
